Ernie Steidle is an adjunct professor of multivariate statistics for the Doctoral Program in Health Related Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia in January 1992 in Educational Research Methodology. Ernie has worked for the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services for over 40 years. His current position is Chief Operations Officer, responsible for Fiscal, Policy, Human Resources and Information Technology activities of the agency. Prior to that, he was a Research Analyst for the Nursing School at the University of Virginia. Ernie's interests include health research and health data analytics. He serves as a reviewer for federal grants and has consulted on numerous research projects and doctoral dissertations. Ernie and his wife Martha have four grown children. They reside in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.
