ADCC Webinar Training

These online webinar series are developed specifically for employees working in Virginia's Licensed Adult Day Care Centers. Each series is $15 per person and offers 6 contact hours of training. Each series is good for one year following the live webinar kick off. Expiration dates are listed below for each series.

Culturally Competent Care for Diverse Participants

At the end of this webinar series, participants will have an: 

  • Increased understanding of person-centered care. 
  • Increased understanding of terms related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and aging. 
  • Increased ability to relate to LGBT elders.
  • Increased ability to honor sexual expression and participant rights. 
  • Increased ability to honor preferences and rights for individuals with a dementia related disorder.
