Learning Objectives 

At the end of this training, participants will have an:

  • Increased understanding about how our personal and societal values influence care delivery. 
  • Increased awareness of the importance of respecting residents'/participants' rights in care planning. 
  • Increased understanding and ability to support and document residents'/participants' preferences on the ISP/Care Plan.
  • Increased understanding about person centered approaches to risk management.

Registration

Please note: Registration and payment must be received at the Department of Gerontology 10 business days prior to the training date. Certificates of attendance will not be available at the training for individuals with late registrations and payments, but will be mailed at a later date.
