    This issue features a case study on communicating with young children on the subject of aging and growing older, using principles of gerontology theory. It reflects my own work over the past 30+ years. There are also editorials on the link between abuse of animals and of persons,preventing falls and ensuring safety with mature drivers, brief summaries of projects completed with funding from our Alzheimer's and Related Diseases Research Award Program, an essay on the role of caregivers when someone with dementia is hospitalized, and a brief research summary on prolonged sitting.
