Bio

Dr. Lindsay Quirk, DNAP, CRNA, is an Assistant Professor in the Virginia Commonwealth University Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice Program. She joined the faculty in 2023 and serves as a course coordinator for Principles and Practice courses throughout the curriculum. Dr. Quirk is committed to making learning engaging and innovative through high-fidelity simulation, helping students develop sound clinical judgment, become autonomous practitioners who advocate for patient safety, and lead interprofessional collaboration within the anesthesia team. She also oversees doctoral research projects as a committee member for VCU DNAP students.

Dr. Quirk earned a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from York College of Pennsylvania. She currently practices anesthesia at VCU Health, where she also serves as a clinical preceptor. Her scholarly interests include advancing skill competencies through simulation-based learning and supporting students’ transition from classroom theory to clinical application. Her integrated academic and clinical roles underscore her commitment to educating the next generation of certified registered nurse anesthetists.
