Our team
Caitlyn serves as affiliate faculty in the Department of Patient Counseling, College of Health Professions and a Clinical Pastoral Education Manger at VCU Health. Caitlyn is an Association of Clinical Pastoral Education Certified Educator and is Board Certified as a Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary and Master of Science degrees in Patient Counseling and Supervisory Education from VCU. She completed her chaplain residency, served as the Chief Chaplain Resident and completed supervisory education at VCU/VCU Health. Caitlyn is an ordained minister and endorsed in the United Methodist Church.
Caitlyn serves on the Family Communication Coordination (FCC) Team of chaplains at VCU Health and has research interests in organ donation chaplaincy, Advance Care Planning, chaplain resiliency and the use of art in clinical pastoral education. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, entertaining and tablescaping.
