Biography
Chad Taylor is a faculty member in the Department of Physical Therapy. He is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy and Orthopedic Physical Therapy and is a licensed athletic trainer. He is the Residency Director and is Coordinator of the VCU Sports Residency. His primary teaching responsibilities are the three musculoskeletal physical therapy courses. Dr. Taylor also treats patients at VCU Sports Medicine. He has a history of working with young adolescents up to professional athletes. His research interests are in the areas of biomechanics of the lower extremity, biomechanics of the shoulder and scapula, and sports physical therapy. He is a member of both the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy and Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
