Rev. Leigh Finnegan-Hosey is a graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary and ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Leigh currently serves as an instructor in the Department of Patient Counseling, College of Health Professions, and as a the Pediatric and Women’s Health Chaplain for VCU Health. Prior to joining VCU, she served in the spiritual care departments of Georgetown University, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, and ECU Health. Originally from South Florida, Leigh loves the forests and mountains of Virginia but still considers the beach home. She is the proud mother of one human baby (Laila) and one fur baby (Penny lane), and her hobbies include hiking, traveling, and swing dancing with her husband David.
