Jason Baer recently joined CHP as the lab manager working with Ben Darter in the Department of Physical Therapy. His primary area of research is the study of gait, balance, and posture with respect to rehabilitation, motor control, and human movement kinematics. Areas of expertise include the study of cognitive, neurological, and occupational human factors of movement using motion capture, EMG, and EEG data collection and analysis methods.

He received a PhD in biology, with a focus on neuroscience from the University of Idaho in 2022; An MS in human factors psychology from the University of Idaho in 2016; a BS in psychology and BS in advertising - both from Northern Arizona University in 2012.
