Joy Gilchrist has served as a development specialist with the VCU College of Health Professions since November 2022. In this role she enhances the university’s relationship with donors through appropriate stewardship projects, and supports various fundraising initiatives set forth by the College and university.
 
Prior to VCU, Gilchrist served as the philanthropy coordinator with Peter Paul, a local nonprofit in the East end of Richmond. She is a proud alumna of VCU, graduating in 2018 with Bachelor’s degrees in psychology and gender, sexuality, and women’s studies. In her spare time, you will find her checking out the ever-growing Richmond food scene or spending time with friends and family.
