Lauren Mahrous serves as an Academic Advisor for the College of Health Professions.  In this role she is responsible for undergraduate student advising for the College of Health Professions students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Master of Liberal Arts in organizational leadership from Fort Hays State University.

Prior to VCU, Mahrous served as an associate registrar for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and was a staff member for the Department of Laboratory Sciences and Primary Care. She has also held positions in several other universities working for the Alumni Association, Student Activities, TRIO Student Support Services, Admissions, and Residential Life.
