Rachel Carter joined the College in September of 2023 and serves as the senior executive assistant to the deans in the College of Health Professions. In this role, she is responsible for providing support to Dr. Song and Dr. Hampton as well general support for the dean’s office faculty and staff.

Prior to her role in the College of Health Professions, she earned her Bachelors from Centre College in Psychology and Education. She also earned a Master of Arts in Practical Theology from Pfeiffer University and Wesley Theological Seminary. Rachel worked in the nonprofit world for several years before joining the College. Outside of work, she enjoys going to sporting events, spending time trying new recipes, and collecting house plants to fill her home.
