Rachel Ramirez joined VCoA in March 2014 as Executive Director of the Lifelong Learning Institute in Chesterfield (LLI), which VCOA co-sponsors with Chesterfield County Public Schools and government. As LLI´s primary resource, she is responsible for managing the operation, developing course curricula and events, recruiting faculty, and coordinating volunteers. Rachel holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration with a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management from VCU as well as a Bachelor's degree from Regent University in Organizational Leadership and Management. She has experience in management, organization, customer service, finance, and business analysis. Rachel enjoys combining these experiences in her leadership role at LLI to continue enriching the lives of the members they serve and expanding the courses that are offered.
