Healthcare professionals are experiencing increasing levels of dissatisfaction in their work. Compassion fatigue and repeated instances of moral distress exacerbate feelings of distance from physical and mental well being. This presentation addresses the detrimental effects of moral distress and offers strategies to recognize and repair moral discrepancies.

We will explore what compassion fatigue looks and feels like, how it relates to burnout and provide practical techniques for navigating compassion fatigue and fostering satisfaction. Participants will gain insight into recognizing signs of compassion fatigue, understand its relationship with moral distress, and foster resilience and satisfaction in their roles as caring professionals.
