VCU CHP Research Week 2025: Student Research Day: Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, 11:00 AM- 2:00 PM

We are excited to welcome you to be a part of the VCU CHP Research Week 2025: Student Research Day! This is a wonderful opportunity to share and talk about the incredible work you are doing at CHP. Students participating in Student Research Day are eligible for three CHP Dean's Awards. 

There are several ways you can share your research:

1. You may present your poster in person or you can submit your poster for a virtual presentation if you are at a remote site or away on clinicals/residency, such as at one of our sites in Roanoke, Abingdon, or Northern Virginia.
   • In-person poster presentations include your poster and Q&A throughout the session (morning or afternoon option - see below)
   • Virtual poster presentations include a digital version of your poster projected on CHP screens/monitors throughout the day. 
2. All students who register to present their poster are invited to submit a video recorded presentation in a format we call the 3-minute thesis (3MT). 3MT is a recorded 3-minute presentation of your work that will be shared during lunch.

Students participating in Student Research Day are eligible for three CHP Dean's Awards.

• Best Poster Award
• 3MT Award
• Scientific Impact Award

Students may receive more than one award. Award prize is distributed across student coauthors for awarded poster.
