For 75 years, the Department of Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University has educated the most innovative and compassionate individuals to become health care leaders and decision-makers across Virginia and beyond.
In honor of the department’s remarkable legacy, we are thrilled to host the Department of Health Administration’s 75th Anniversary Celebration.
When: 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14
Where: Altria Theater, 6 N. Laurel St., Richmond, VA 23220
Attire: Business professional; when selecting footwear, keep in mind that the venue is not carpeted.

College of Health Professions Building Tours and Lunch
Join us for tours of our state-of-the-art facility down on the MCV Campus. The college's building opened in 2019 and houses all nine departments. Lunch will be provided.

Time: 12 pm - 2 pm
Location: College of Health Professions; 900 E. Leigh Street; Room 1075
Parking: Guests are welcome to park in the VCU 8th Street Deck (659 N. 8th St.). Parking validations will be provided at the check-in desk. Street parking is available.

VCU Health Administration 75th Anniversary Celebration
5 p.m.: Cocktail reception under the Altria Theater marquee; in the event of rain, the reception will be held inside.
About 6:10 p.m.: Guests and honorees will proceed to the basement-level ballroom for the program and dinner. Dinner is served at the table. The ballroom is accessible by stairs and elevator.
Parking: Parking is available at the West Main Street Parking Deck, 801 W. Main St. Please enter on Laurel Street. Parking validations will be provided at the check-in desk. If you are using a private driver or ride-sharing service, instruct the driver to drop you off at the Main Street side of the building near the box office, then walk to the Laurel Street entrance.
Lodging: Traveling to Richmond for the celebration? The Quirk Hotel and the Graduate hotel are the preferred lodging partners of VCU Alumni. Book your room early, as it is a busy weekend in Richmond.
