Calling all undergraduate researchers. Fund your research!

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry funds a number of undergraduate research fellowship awards for projects mentored by VCU Faculty.

Compensation & Benefits

Successful student applicants will receive a cash stipend of $1,500. Research Fellowship will appear on the recipients' official academic transcripts.

The student's faculty mentor will receive an additional $500 to defray expenses associated with the fellowship project or to use for professional development.

• Research Proposal
• Personal Statement
• Letter of Support from faculty mentor

Fellowship requirements

Must:

• Be a current undergraduate student
• Submit three reflections throughout their Fellowship
• Participate in VCU Undergraduate Symposium
