Ashley Joiner is an event manager and educator with experience organizing and executing large events. Ashley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Black Studies from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship from George Mason University. 

This academic foundation has equipped Ashley with a unique blend of interdisciplinary knowledge and practical skills in social entrepreneurship, event management, and organizational leadership. Ashley is also an adjunct faculty member at the School of Integrative Studies at George Mason University. She teaches INTS-331, The Nonprofit Sector, a synchronous online course on nonprofit management with a community-based learning component, and INTS-204, Leadership Theory and Practice. 

As a board chair for Together We Bake, Ashley provides governance and support to this social enterprise, leveraging her experience in social entrepreneurship and event management to contribute to its mission and success.
